Still don’t have a computer at home. HOPEFULLY I can get it back today.. well, tonight, or I’m gonna be maaaaaaaaaassively pissed off. So woo.

Anywho, I thought I’d put this up, but evidently not. Story outline for my major project that we wrote up last Tuesday in class.

SKETCH MAN’S FRIEND

Premise:
A short story of two lonely people finding each other. When the Sketch man discovering Sketch Girl and showing her his world.

Story Outline:
It’s a story about a scribble that came to life who’s now lonely and in search of a friend. While wandering around the library he finds an open book with another scribble character drawn on it. With a little bit of coaxing the Sketch man convinces the female sketch to leave her book and come with him. Sketch man takes Sketch girl to different books, showing her his world and the fantastic things that are in it, that they can see together. Sketch girl isn’t completely convinced, she likes the sunset and the beach that Sketch man shows her, but the pictures of war and scary beasts make her want to go back to her book.
When a group of people come thundering into the library and cause the two sketch people to hide, the Sketch girl decides it’s all too much and she’s going to go back to her book.
Lonely again, Sketch man sits on a shelf watching people wander about the library, thinking over the times he’d had with the Sketch girl. The Sketch girl sits in her book, hiding from the world feeling lonely and lost herself, missing the adventures through other books that the Sketch man had taken her on.
The Sketch man gets spotted by The Hand and suddenly he is made to run for his life. Seeing the Sketch man in trouble the Sketch girl gains her courage and leaves her book to save him. Working together the two sketches are able to outsmart The Hand and escape.
Having over come her fear of the world outside her book, the Sketch girl is happy to now adventure out in the world together with the Sketch man. The Sketch man is no longer lonely, he has a friend to share his world with and they’re both happy.

In way more than 25 words!
This is a short story about a boy and a girl. Two lonely characters in a big world trying to find each other. The Sketch man discovers Sketch girl and decides to show her his world. She’s uncertain of things and it’s not until the Sketch man’s life is in danger that she’s able to overcome her fears and working together they defeat The Hand. Sketch girl realising that though there’s scary things out there in the world, there’s things, people worth fighting for, worth overcoming your fear for.

Yaaaay.. My computer spazzed out on me on Tuesday. It is now Thursday and I’m not likely to get it back till tomorrow.. N not be able to set it up until -after- work. So woo no computer till like 11pm tomorrow! .. and I have too much stuff that needs doing currently. This is not fun. Library computers are also lame, though they seem to of gotten an upgradesince I last used one. Stilllame keyboards.

Anywho, yes. Just thought I’d announce to the world, no computer for moi! Woo!

SchoolAugust 14, 2008 3:35 pm

Okay! I can’t seem to even see the www.neversayspy.blogsome.com page on my computer so I can’t post this one there.. So damnit. Anyone from the group, they see this, can they copy and past it over? I’m gonna see what I can do about it over the next couple of days and such.

Anyway. Here’s a general summary and the first run of the script for Episode two for Never Say Spy. Our group project! .. uh. Where we as a group supposed to have a name as well? >>

Anywho!

Working Title: Never Say Spy

Tagline: Nothing’s too dangerous, or too difficult for our guys.

One line Synopsis: Two spies doing the dirty jobs that the big guys wont.

One-page Treatment: (Needs to be worked on still)

Two spies working for a not too big but not too small intelligence agency, doing odd jobs that the big guys aren’t willing to. The dangerous jobs that everyone else says aren’t worth the danger.

Agent 206 and Agent Badger are both spies working for The Shadow Company, a subsidiary branch of The Company. This is the place where all the crap jobs that none of the big guys want to do, but are still too important for the nobodies to be left to do.

Both Agent 206 and Agent Badger have been working for SC for the past five years and are the top agents in their game. Since they were recruited, both guys have had it in for each other. With things starting early on when Agent Badger nicked the top prize from under Agent 206’s nose in one of their first missions. Since then, it’s been a continual game of one upmanship between the two agents as they try to out do each other.

Currently Agent 206 and Badger are on assignment to get The Brief. A horribly important document that contains international secrets for a Cyber Electronics Company with enterprising features. At the same time the Live Corps are trying to get their hands on The Brief as well.

Agent 206 (Jake)
Agent Badger (Luke)
The Boss ( leader of the Shadow Company )

Genre: Spy, comedy.

Premise:

Two spies working for a not too big but not too small intelligence agency (The Shadow Company), doing odd jobs that the big guys aren’t willing to. The dangerous jobs that everyone else says aren’t worth the danger.

Episodes:

1: Introduction

Introducing The Shadow Company, subsidiary of THE Company. The place where Agents Badger and 206 work day in, day out (these guys have no outside lives).
(Done very much like an introductory video you see when you join a new company)

2: The Brief

Agent 206 has been captured and is being tortured by The Live Corps for information on where The Brief is. 206 wont give in! That is until they threaten him with the ultimate torture device (-). Finally Agent 206 gives in and tells the thugs who has The Brief. The person waiting on bench 17 in the park.
In a park on the other side of town Agent Badger is sitting on a bench, with an old lady sitting on one behind him. Two large men dressed in black come up to the old lady behind Agent Badger and start threatening her. Suddenly they pull out weapons and start beating up the old lady as they demand to know where The Brief is. Agent Badger is oblivious.
Finally, the thugs drag away the old lady, leaving Agent Badger alone on the bench. After a few moments Agent Badger looks around and notices that he’s not sitting on bench 17, but actually 17A and that’s why his contact hasn’t come to meet him.

3: Escape

Agent Orange infiltrates The Live Corps to save Agent 206. There’s a gunfight and they escape.. Or do they?

SCRIPT:

Episode 2: The Brief

Smack! Agent 206 is knocked back in his chair. Tied up in a grubby, badly lit room, the spy has seen better days. Standing over 206 are two large thugs of The Live Corps

Thug 1: We can keep this up all night bud!

Agent 206 simply glares at the two, daring them with his eyes.

Thug 2: It looks like we’re going to have to pull out the special treats for this one.

Thug 1 grins stupidly at Thug 2 before disappearing out of sight. There’s lots of noise of scraping and scratching of heavy items in the background as 2 stands threateningly over Agent 206.
Some moments later and Thug 1 appears again, carrying a large box of strange and unusual items including a plunger, tapedeck, slinky among other things. Thug 2 looks to Agent 206.

Thug 2: Now the fun really starts.

In a park on a bench, on the other side of town an old lady sits, back to the camera and minding her own business. From the side slinks Agent 206, dressed in a large trench coat he sits on the opposite bench and looks around.

Back in the torture room Agent 206 remains unbroken, even as Thug 1 stands back, brandishing the plunger at the spy and looking somewhat disappointed.

Thug 2: I think we’ll need to try Big Bertha. How’s that sound Agent?

Agent 206’s eyes go wide as he looks from one thug to the other.

On the bench Agent Badger looks at his watch.

Finally it seems that Agent 206 has been broken. Head down he looks defeated and ready to give the information as Thug 1 and 2 glower in the background.

At the park bench Agent Badger and the old lady remain oblivious to each other. Agent Badger looking around and trying to seem nonchalant as the old lady simply watches the world go by.
From the left and right two large men dressed in black approach the benches, coming up on either side of the old lady. They quietly start to question the old lady. At the same time Agent Badger gets a call on his mobile and answers it.

Agent Badger: Hello. The pickles are pickling.

The questioning quickly escalates, becoming more aggressive as the old lady doesn’t know what the two men are asking about and they insist upon matters. It isn’t long and the two men have gotten violent and are beating up the old lady for answers. Agent Badger at the same time is completely engrossed in his phone conversation and doesn’t realise what’s happening behind him.

Agent Badger: The chardonnay contains no bubbles.
The eagle is nested, but there are no eggs.
The storyteller speaks with no words.

Finally the two men beat the old lady over the head and drag her away as Agent Badger finishes his phone call.

In the torture chamber Thug 1 and 2 reapproach Agent 206.

Thug 2: You said The Brief would be at Bench 17.

Agent 206 looks at the thugs, confused, scared, nodding his head in agreement with them.

On the bench Agent Badger looks at his watch again then looks around, still waiting to meet the contact for The Brief. As he leans over the side of the bench he realises he’s sitting on bench 17A.

Timed it’s roughly at 90 seconds, so woo. Page n a half n two more to go. I’m doing them! This one was the easiest one to figure as the idea behind it was pretty much organised, other two gonna take me a lil longer as well, Episode One definately has more dialogue so trying to figure it out, Episode 3 I’m just trying to work out in general better.

.. this has also utterly screwed with the spacing. Joy. I’ll have to try fixing that later ><

Soooooo.. after I’m saying 20-30hrs of roughing, inking, colouring we have..

Photobucket
FINISHED. COMPLETE. DONE.

My god..

Course, that’s not the full size image, it’s in a proper DV/PAL format in PS, just like, easy upload for here that wont have the page bitching too much. Presumably anyway.

Second assignment for Tuesday morning Animation class.
And I found out today it would of been fine as the roughs and didn’t need to be inked and polished.. That could of saved me like a double dozen hours, like gyah. Still! If I’d known that I probably would of made it twice as long to make up for unpolished.. and STILL probably would of cleaned it up too much.. So oh well.

To think, this :
Photobucket
Is the original roughs! Woo!

Long way we come! Totally!
I have 11 WIPs to show for the thing! Clogging my photobucket account, woo! Course, not as bad as the ones for Cookie’s class, but there you go.

Done!

Well, here’s an image from my Egg Dreams project which I have so totally blown massively out of proportion for what it’s supposed to be.. But what ever.

From a 12 frame mobile animation to a hundred (around there about currently) monster thing, we have.. A butterfly to show you!

Basically we’re supposed to be making a 12 frame animation that’s supposed to be say, screensaver/background image for your phone. This.. Is a bit more. It was also supposed to reflect you in some way. This doesn’t. Not really.

Anywho. We have an egg dreaming of various things it could hatch into, ala caterpillar to butterfly, fish, bird, dinosaur, fried eggs, birthday cake, tadpole to frog.

Photobucket

Hopefully this works.
Give it a few moments to cycle through the animation fully as well, seeing as well, 1.4mb file and all.

School, Animation 1:45 pm

This was due, uh, not last Tuesday, but the one before. Handed it in last Tuesday.

Character design for Tuesday’s morning animation class.

DawnAllies character sheet.

Which I had some of the roughs for down there. Anywho, she’s done. Now just to make her move.
Which is due this Wednesday I think.

School 1:34 pm

Okay, this was for screen writing.. An exercise we had to do in class where we had a selection of questions and had to answer them, creating a character and a setting, just for writing purposes and such.

I didn’t actually do this right, but whatever. I grabbed an idea I had for the 90second thing we’re doing that my group’s not using.
It peters off at the end as time ran out and such.

So here’s Jimmy Jones.

Who are you?

Jimmy Jones. Children’s entertainer! I like to think extraordinaire but my conscious keeps telling me otherwise. I really don’t like the devil on my left shoulder and the angel isn’t much better.

Where are you?

Umm.. Well, looking around, it’s supposed to be a kid’s party. But everyone’s dressed in black and looking rather sombre. I’m not hearing kids screaming or yelling or anything.. there’s no balloons or cake or party hats or streamers or anything. Just sad looking people.. and I think there is a wailing woman somewhere over by the drink stand.

What are you wearing?

A clown costume.. and I’m really not sure it’s such a good idea. The people around here are giving me odd looks. Uh.. This is Benny’s birthday party, right?

Why are you here?

Benny’s birthday party, right? He’s six years old and I’m supposed to be here to entertain the kiddies for an hour so the parents can piss off and not worry about the kids for a while. I’m getting paid $50 for this! Charity even! It’s supposed to be Clara’s little nephew and I’m doing it as a favour to her.

What do you want at this moment?

To know why all these people are giving me dirty looks and where all the kids are. Seriously. Did someone die or something?
Maybe I can find Clara or uh.. was it June? Joan? Whateva Benny’s mum’s name is. I really should probably try looking for her and find out what’s going on.

What time of day is it? What season? Year?

It’s about 2:30 in the afternoon, I know I’m a few minutes late, like, maybe what, five minutes at most? It’s really not enough for all these people to be quite so glaring and angry at me..
It’s summer, kids parties are always better in the summer. We’re not stuck indoors and I don’t have to worry so much about them making a mess and then the parents giving me crap about it afterwards. There’s been more than one mum who’s gone and skimped me half my money because their little ‘angel’ couldn’t possibly of thought to smash that crystal vase sitting on the unstable dining room side table if it weren’t for the silly clown making their kid run round in circles. Seriously lady, who on earth are you kidding?
It’s this year of course. I’m turning 26 and feeling fine! God.. where is my life going?

What is the weather like?

Sunny! Really nice bright happy sunny day. It couldn’t get much better even. It’s not too hot, there’s a slight breeze, a couple of little clouds floating by in the sky. Everything’s all bright and green and colourful.. Except for all these people. Who seem to think it’s like the middle of july, freezing cold, miserable sopping wet weather where they all need to hunker down and glower at the world around them while they spread their misery to anyone they can reach..

Umm.. So I should find Clara, right?
Or June, I’ll go look for June, she should be able to tell me what’s going on..

Oh, bother. Some old lady’s coming up to me. One of the one’s that’s been giving me an evil glare since I walked around the side of the house and joined all these lovely people standing around and talking quietly.

I should be listening to what she says right? The thing is, I’m just too distracted by these big massive.. THINGS on her face. I don’t know. I’m probably staring. I can’t help it. They’re just so obviously there. Right there in the middle of her face. One hanging under her left eye and the other sitting over her right nostril.. I think there’s hairs growing out of the one on her nostril. Yeah, I’m pretty sure it is.
Has no one told this woman what she looks like? About you know, some sort of medical something to get rid of them? I’m sure there’s a doctor somewhere who could help get rid of those.. I can’t be the only one who’s noticed. Seriously.

..

Oh. She’s noticed me staring. Maybe it’s because she said something..? Oh. Maybe. Uh..

There’s more people glaring at me. Actually. They all seem to be glaring at me.
I really should have been listening to that woman as she spoke. I really think I should of.. really really.

Oh shite.

~

Okay. So now I’m sitting on the gutter next to the ‘clowncar’ which is really just some old beaten up piece of shite car that’s got a really cheap paint job on it done by a friend of a friend of a cousin of a friend, which I’m sure started peeling the moment he walked off, nursing my head and wondering where those green elephants came from.

Yes, green elephants. I’m not kidding you.
I see weird things sometimes.. I probably should see someone about it. But every time I take myself to a shrink’s office something happens that pretty much convinces me that staying there and seeing the shrink’d be the worse option of simply leaving and learning to deal with these things on my own. Sure you could say this is just my mind trying to convince me I’m okay or some bogus crap like that.. But really, if you saw the weird ass shite I saw in those plain glass, white wall waiting rooms.. You’d run like as hell as well.

Admittedly, the green blob with the four eyes and the brittish accept was rather friendly. He was attached to this little girl with pigtails and wide staring eyes who kept mouthing like a fish. She was.. stranger than the blob even. The Blob who was named Barry really was less off putting than the little girl. Then again, the mother of the little girl kept giving me these odd looks that didn’t help things.. Maybe it was because I was talking to Barry and sitting fairly close to her and the girl.

Anyway. Green elephants, right?

MoviesJuly 10, 2008 5:25 am

ReelAnime2008

Yay At the Movies!

Anyway, after reviewing movies and such, David and Margaret mentioned this! Four anime movies that are special showcasing around Australia between the 3rd-16th of July. So that’s last Thursday till next Wednesday at selected cinemas around the country.

They’re showing in Dendy Kino cinemas in Victoria, so like where we went earlier in the year.
http://www.dendy.com.au/event_detail.asp?Event_ID=266

Annnnd… yeah. They’re showing APPLESEED EX MACHINA, BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHT, VEXILLE and THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME
As a back to back from 12:15pm to sometime past 9pm when the last one is shown. With the movies alternating what’s showing at what time each day.

I’m thinking maybe I’ll go see one tomorrow at midday.. maybe, depends on sleep. See the rest on the weekend, or Monday after Graham’s class. The main problem is buying daily zone 1/2 tickets for the train without a concession.. like gah expensive.

Anyway! I shared, enjoy anyone else who looks here and sees this. I’m gonna try and get to at least one of them. Toodles!
